Reach the people building the energy transition.

Negawatt is read by VPP and DER operators, climate VCs, energy traders, grid software teams, utilities, and the founders building the next layer of the grid. If that is your audience, we should talk.

The audience

A small, expensive list of the right people.

Negawatt is not a mass-market publication. The audience is small, hand-built, and almost entirely industry. We do not chase pageviews. We chase the inbox of the right reader.

How sponsorship works at Negawatt

No editorial influence. Ever.

The line between sponsorship and editorial is the line that decides whether a publication is worth reading. We hold it tightly, and we make our rules public.

Topics are chosen by Negawatt.

Sponsors do not pick topics, see drafts, or approve copy. Editorial Partners can request a beat, but the angle and conclusions belong to the editor.

Sponsorship is always disclosed.

Every sponsor credit is clearly labeled at the top of the placement, in plain language. No native ads designed to look like editorial.

One sponsor per issue, maximum.

To preserve attention and value, we run no more than one sponsor per newsletter issue and zero display advertising on the site.

Sponsors do not get coverage.

Sponsoring an issue does not buy editorial coverage of the sponsor. If a sponsor is also editorially relevant, the relationship is disclosed in line with the piece.

We turn down work.

We will say no to sponsorships that do not fit the audience or the editorial direction. The audience trust is the only asset Negawatt has at this stage; we protect it accordingly.

Reporting is honest.

Sponsors receive a clean readership report after each issue. We do not pad numbers, recycle stale audience data, or count pageviews from outside the target audience.
